Acquisition of Solar Metrology expands PFT branded product offerings in the Renewable Energy sector.
In a strategic move that further enhances Precision Flow Technologies position as an essential suppler of Molecule delivery systems, advanced processing tools and measurement and metrology systems for the Solar, LED, Superconducting and Energy Storage industries, PFT announced the acquisition of Solar Metrology. Solar Metrology is the global leader in the development and manufacture of high-performance X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) analysis tools.

Precision Flow Technologies announces a 45,000 square foot expansion at the Kingston facility.
Reaching another expansion milestone, PFT commissioned 45,000 square feet of white space manufacturing capacity for semiconductor grade assembly for their MTO customers. A 10,000 square foot class 1000 clean room is planned to be incorporated into the footprint to increase UHP orbital welding and vacuum chamber assembly capacity.

Acquisition of iCon Dynamics expands product line to include chemical delivery systems.
In a strategic move that will improve PFT's chemical delivery system product line the company has acquired iCon Dynamics of Rhinebeck, NY. There are multiple product extensions that will be realized with iCon's strong portfolio of liquid and vapor delivery systems. The ability to support value added engineering services for PFT's Engineered to Order (ETO) customers is improved as these products will be integrated into semiconductor grade tool OEM products.

In a facility expansion at their Kingston NY site PFT has grown from 5000 square feet of manufacturing space to 135,000 square feet. Capacity is needed to meet expanding demand for Manufactured to Order (MTO) services by customers looking for contract manufacturing support as US manufacturing rebounds.

May, 2009 - Precision Flow Technologies backs up its commitment towards quality as they expand into the Medical Device Industry. Their Quality Management System received certificate of registration to I.S. EIN ISO 13485:2003 and 9001:2008 to support the design, manufacture and test of electrical and mechanical assemblies and systems for the medical industry.

May 15, 2008 - PFT ships multiple process gas delivery equipment sets to major Photovoltaic Solar company in China.
April 16, 2007 - Precision Flow Technologies opens a satellite office in Albany, NY to help manage increased business. Headquartered in Saugerties, PFT first opened its doors in 1997. It has since grown to a company consisting of over 90 employees.
April 9, 2007 - Precision Flow Technologies announces its recent facilities expansion from 40,000 square feet to 58,000 square feet. This expansion was made in order to accommodate continued increase in sales and production in both their fuel cell and gas delivery lines.
April 2, 2007 - Precision Flow Technologies began shipments of a new high volume MOCVD process tool to a major US OEM. PFT and our customer jointly designed the new system using modular design techniques and advanced system architecture. The results improved the overall footprint and reduced the cost of the system.
